Manufacturing Facilities Manager
Lead safe, efficient factory uptime as Manufacturing Facilities Manager: coach teams, manage budgets, drive health and safety, and keep facilities running smoothly.
About the Role
This rewarding role will see you responsible for overseeing the infrastructure, maintenance and safe operation of production facilities, ensuring maximum uptime and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include managing building HVAC, electrical), leading maintenance teams/contractors, budgeting and implementing health and safety and security protocols to support efficient manufacturing workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Fully manage health and safety compliance throughout the factory, including development and monitoring of risk assessments, method statements and Safe System of Work
Oversee daily, preventative and emergency maintenance of building, infrastructure and production machinery
Ensure compliance with environmental, health and security standards and manage risk
Manage relationships with external service providers for cleaning, security and repairs
Develop and manage facility budgets, including costs for repairs and renovations
Supervise facility upgrades, equipment installations and refurbishments

Experience and Skills
Over 8 years proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience managing health and safety in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in risk management
Proven experience of designing and maintaining a PPM schedule
Experience in managing a team
Experience in managing projects, budgets and time
Relevant H&S qualifications
Relevant engineering qualifications
