Business Development Executive
Join our expanding sales team as a Business Development Executive: build lasting client relationships, win new business, and guide large-scale manufacturing projects.
As a leading manufacturing business, specialising in the delivery of large-scale, high-quality projects across retail, commercial and hospitality interiors and exhibition sectors we are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our established sales team. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and driven individual to help expand our client base and strengthen our market presence.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, client facing role suited to a confident professional who thrives on building relationships and winning new business. You will represent the business at industry events and exhibitions, develop new client opportunities and guide customers through the early stages of their projects, aligning their requirements with our manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, develop and secure new business opportunities
Attend, present and network at exhibitions and industry events
Build and nurture long-term client relationships from initial concept through to sales enquiry
Understand client briefs and translate requirements into commercially viable manufacturing solutions
Work closely with internal design, production and project teams to ensure client expectations can be met
Maintain up to date pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasts
About You
Confident, professional and highly motivated with a strong commercial mindset
Proven experience in business development or sales within a manufacturing or large scale project environment
Background in retail fit-out, commercial interiors, exhibitions or a closely related sector
Comfortable presenting to clients and representing the business externally
Able to guid clients' ideas in line with manufacturing capabilities, budgets and timescales
Results-driven, organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
Desirable Experience
Experience in a business with similar manufacturing capabilities to our business
Strong understanding of manufacturing, modular systems or bespoke fabrication
